Por segunda vez, desde aquel concierto para Bangla Desh, en 1971, actuaron en vivo y sobre el mismo escenario George Harrison y Ringo Starr y fue en el concierto de 1987. Ni que decir tiene que McCartney actuó por separado, un año antes, siendo su primera actuación en vivo, y en solitario, desde la disolución de su grupo Wings, en 1979/80.
